Andreas is an agile coach and trainer with over 20 years of experience in software development in big interantional corporations and small startups. He has worked as a project manager or project lead since 1995 and still keeps developing on his own. He received a MSc and a PhD from JKU Linz, Austria and is very passionate about developing software.

Andreas started working with agile in 2001, focussed on (then called) lightweight methods, especially XP and related practices. He is concerned about the development process in general and since then he became an evangelist for iterative and incremental software development. He practices test driven development and continous deployment. Since his first infection with Scrum he is working consequently with Scrum in every project with a fit. He is working with his company Objectbay in Scrum coaching and training in the german speaking area, he helps software developers and organisations in transitioning to agile, establishing processes and tools, such as build and test automation, continous integration etc. He has been involved in many large Scrum implementation projects since 2006.
